- July 13 Sunday – for those who live near Frederick, we transport you and your bike from Frederick, MD to Pittsburgh, PA
- July 14 Monday – Bike from Pittsburgh to Ohiopyle, PA – 72 miles
- July 15 Tuesday – Bike from Ohiopyle to Deep Creek, MD – 62 miles
- July 16 Wednesday – Bike from Deep Creek to Cumberland – 62 or 101 miles
- July 17 Thursday – Bike from Cumberland to Clear Spring – 62 miles
- July 18 Friday – Bike from Clear Spring to Frederick, MD – 62 miles (For those who started in Frederick, the tour is complete.)
- July 19 Saturday – We transport you and your bike back to Pittsburgh after a night’s stay in Frederick

For those that want to stay over in Frederick Friday night, we will make a reservation for you. Else, you can just head home. Contact Phil at 301-693-4503 or use the website contact form.
For those that live in the Mid-Atlantic, we will meet at 8:30 am Sunday morning (July 13) at the Route 40 Comfort Inn in Frederick. Then we load your bike and luggage on our truck and van you up to the Five-Star Sheraton Station Square Hotel in Downtown Pittsburgh, a beautiful city with lots of sightseeing and photo ops. We will have an optional ride through Pittsburgh that afternoon.
For those that live in the Pittsburgh area, we assemble at 5:00 pm Sunday afternoon at the Sheraton Hotel for a Meet & Greet Happy Hour. All cyclists leave Monday morning (July 14 at 7:30 am) to ride our bikes to Ohiopyle. Upon finishing the tour on Friday in Frederick, we stay overnight in beautiful downtown Frederick. Then we van you and your bike back to Pittsburgh Saturday morning July 19.
The courses are well-marked with directional arrows as well as GPS directions, maps & route cue sheets to guide you, along with two SAG vehicles always within a few miles from the riders.
Day One: Pittsburgh to Ohiopyle, PA. 72 scenic miles along PA’s Rust Belt. We stay adjacent to the mighty Youghiogheny River. Bring your swimming gear, as the Yough is great for cooling off after a long ride! 5600 feet of climbing.
Day Two: Ohiopyle to Deep Creek, MD. 62 miles . We overnight at the Lake Front Hotel (Deep Creek’s best) with a grass beach from your room to the lake. 5,000 feet of climbs.
Day Three: Deep Creek to Cumberland MD. 62 miles over the prettiest and greatest roads ever! Photo ops galore. 5,500 feet of climbs. We stay in Historic Downtown Cumberland at the Fairfield Hotel. Optional 101-mile ride.
Day Four: Cumberland to Clear Spring, MD. Five mountain climbs today. We stay at the Holiday Inn Express in quaint Clear Spring. 62 miles with 5,500 feet of climbs.
Day Five: Clear Spring to Frederick, MD. 62 miles with 3,000 feet of climbing. For those from the Mid-Atlantic, the ride is over. For those from the Pittsburgh area, we stay overnight in Historic, Civil War Frederick. Great restaurants, bars and sightseeing. Then we van you back to Pittsburgh the next morning, Saturday, July 19.
